As a central mixing device, the NovaMix Value automatic thermostatic mixing valve ensures a constant temperature of the mixed water at the outlet. This protects the user from scalding due to high tank water temperatures at the point of use. The valves offer a wider range of applications thanks to the three available sizes [connections 3/4" (DN15), 1" (DN20) and 1¼" (DN25)]. Special valve seals on the thermostatic piston spindle keep unwanted mixing to a minimum*, ensuring maximum use of the water temperature in the tank. NovaMix Value is used mainly in the sanitary sector as a control element for reducing the temperature of domestic water from tank heaters. They are also suitable for a number of other applications requiring a constant mixing temperature, e.g. as mixers in heating systems and tank charging with a solid fuel boiler. * If the hot water temperature is 3K below the set mixing temperature, the leakage rate at the cold water inlet = 0. Otherwise, the mixing temperature can be max. 3K.

FUNCTION:

The mixing valve is supplied with hot water from the tank and cold water from the water supply. The temperature of the mix is recorded by a thermostatic element. If the temperature deviates from the set temperature, the thermoscope moves the coupled spindle and automatically corrects the flow of hot and cold water at the inlets so that the mix temperature returns to the set value and remains constant.
