Emerson

Emerson byl založen v roce 1890 v St. Louis, Missouri, jako výrobce elektromotorů a ventilátorů. Dva skotští bratři, Charles a Alexander Meston, viděli velkou obchodní příležitost při vývoji spolehlivého elektromotoru. S finanční podporou Johna Wesleye Emersona, bývalého armádního úředníka, soudce a právníka, založili Emerson Electric Manufacturing Company.
Firma se nejprve zaměřila na motory střídavého proudu a vyráběla první elektrické ventilátory prodávané v Severní Americe. Pod vedením prezidenta Herberta L. Parkera si Emerson vybudoval pověst výrobce kvalitních produktů, přičemž čisté tržby dosáhly téměř 60 000 dolarů.
V roce 2015 Emerson oslavil své 125. výročí kampaní "I Love STEM", která podporuje vzdělávání v oblasti vědy, techniky, inženýrství a matematiky (STEM). Společnost oznámila reorganizaci portfolia do dvou hlavních obchodních platforem – Automation Solutions a Commercial & Residential Solutions. Tato optimalizace podpořila růst, zvýšila investiční příležitosti a urychlila vytváření hodnot pro akcionáře.
Dnes je Emerson globálním lídrem v oblasti technologických řešení, s bohatou historií inovací a kvality, která sahá přes 130 let.
